That’s right!  I just finished my weekly post covering the EU Releases This Week over at EUCantina.net when what did I discover on the back of this weeks kick off of Blood Ties?

Well I’m not one to hold back, so here it goes.  Randy Stradley, Editor at Dark Horse, in his Written in Blood letter in the back of issue #1 mentions that the writer, artist  enjoyed the project so much they decided to continue the Blood Ties series with a second miniseries!

As if getting the Fetts wasn’t good enough we’ll get to see other blood related characters featuring in the next miniseries!  With the change to arc driven series don’t be too surprised if Blood Ties becomes a reoccurring comic line in Dark Horses arsenal.

This has a lot of potential when you think about it.  Dark Horse Comics has one of the largest runs of Star Wars comics to draw from already, and the Expanded Universe has plenty of families who have made lasting impacts on the galaxy far, far away.

So does this mean I can mark off Clothing designer off my list of things to do in my life?

That’s right everyone!  I had a hand in one of the latest logos for EUCantina.

You can even buy these products with the logo!  The EUCantina.net logo is the one I designed.  I took the EUCantina Hutt mascot image and went to work playing around.  I’ve had various designs and colors.  It was a lot of fun!

You can see some of the products you can find on the slideshow.

DemagolKnights of the Old Republic comic fans rejoice!!!  Straight from John Jackson Millers Blog Faraway Looks we discover that more of the Kotor saga will be revealed soon as a StarWars.Com Hyperspace exclusive!

I have a third piece of Knights of the Old Republic-era fiction coming to the Star Wars fan club site, Hyperspace. Tentative title: The Journal of Doctor Demagol.

This is something I had considered doing for a long time, potentially as a back-up feature for whatever issue of
KOTOR wound up having Demagol’s origin story. I’d always wanted to tell a story looking at the series from his point of view — getting into what was going on in the twisted mind inside the helmet. As it turned out, we ended up doing the origin story in #48, where we also had the Mass Effect Redemption preview and my short essay. But the longer-form piece was still bubbling in my mind, and I’m glad we’ve found a place for it. It’s a nice little coda to the comics series, and it was loads of fun to write. I don’t know when it’s scheduled to appear yet, but keep an eye on StarWars.com!
